Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who, ..being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.
I am the vine, You are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.
Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.
All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
The NKJV translates Paul’s writing here with the word “implore”. It makes it sound a bit fancier a bit less humiliating. But in fact what Paul is talking about is nothing less humiliating than straight out begging!

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ,
who gave himself for our sins to deliver us from the present evil age,
according to the will of our God and Father,
to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.
But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father,
the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father,He will testify of Me.
And you also will bear witness, because you have been
with Me from the beginning.

and strength and honor and glory and blessing!”
